All Saints' Ball in Poland

Hi everyone!
Welcome to our blog. Today we would like to write about celebrating All Saints' Day in the Primary School of Kornel Makuszyński in Gierlachów, Poland. Our Priest and PE teacher came up with this idea.

Here are reports by class VI students: Maja, Jaś and Kacper.

Jaś:
"On October 30th, the All Saints' Ball  took place in my school. On this day some students dressed up as Saints. Selected students from particular classes took part in a quiz about All Saints' Day. There was also a dance and some students' performance. There was fun and rewards."

 Maja:
"On October 30th our school celebrated All Saints' Day. At the beginning, Janek from class VI recited a poem "How to become a Saint?". Then, class VI sang a song "So big, so little". Next, Maja from class VI sang a song called "Something is holy". In the meantime, students dressed up as Saints presented their costumes. Among others, three people from class six dressed up: Daria as Saint Daria, Jan as Saint Francis and Wojciech as Saint Wojciech. At the end of the performance there was a quiz about Saints, consisting of three rounds. Each class was to choose one participant. At the end of each round, points were added. People who didn't know the answers dropped out. It turned out that the quiz was won by Łukasz from class VII. In my opinion, such celebrations are very cool and needed".

Kacper:
"On 30th October 2019, All Saints' Ball took place in our school. The whole school gathered at the ceremony. At the beginning, there was a performance of poems and songs, showing what day it was. Children dressed up as Holy Figures. Among them there were three students from my class. After the performance, there was a quiz. Each participant got a candy. Three winners received main prizes. Everyone was happy".
